Dr. Jonathan Avesar leads all scientific and technical due diligence at Lever VC, specializing in cell culture and microbial fermentation technologies. Prior to joining Lever in 2019, he co-founded the biomedical company Nanosynex, where he continues to advise on research and development. Jonathan earned his Ph.D. from the Technion, where his research on angiogenesis was conducted in a stem cell and tissue engineering lab that pioneered cultured meat research in Israel.
