USDA FAS Export Sales

Methodology

Published export-sales series use USDA FAS weekly Export Sales Reporting data for all-country net sales.
When FAS reports both ending-year and starting-year rows for the same commodity and week, the continuous weekly series uses the starting-marketing-year row.
Values are shown in metric tons. USDA presentation files may display some report values in thousands for readability.
Weekly net sales can be negative when cancellations, buybacks, destination changes, or other reductions exceed new sales for the week. Negative net sales do not mean physical exports were negative.
Daily large-sales announcements and destination-country detail are separate FAS products and are not included in these all-country weekly series.
