The Agrarian Revolution: Opportunities in Alternative Proteins

The Agrarian Revolution is coming. Alternative proteins are not just possible but necessary if humanity is to feed itself without killing the planet. This event will bring together scientists, investors, policy makers and businesses to address the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.

Speakers:

  • Bruce Friedrich. Bruce Friedrich is cofounder and executive director of The Good Food Institute (GFI), an international nonprofit that is fostering a sustainable, healthy and just agricultural system through food innovation. With branches in the United States, India, Israel, Brazil, Europe and Asia Pacific, GFI is accelerating the production of plant-based and cell-based meat, eggs and dairy in order to bolster the global protein supply while protecting our environment, promoting global health and preventing food insecurity and animal cruelty.

  • Anthony Chow. Anthony heads Agronomics (LON:ANIC), a publicly-listed investment company specialising in cellular agriculture companies. He is a long-time business associate of Jim Mellon’s, having worked with his family office Burnbrae Group investing in early stage investment opportunities for over 13 years.
