Associate, Strategy & Partnerships

Clara Foods is looking for a dynamic, results-driven individual that thrives in a high-change environment to join the Strategy & Partnerships team. Key qualities include a demonstrated ability to work independently, logically frame a problem, communicate recommendation-oriented analyses, and drive towards a desired outcome. Must also have experience leading cross-functional collaborations and show a deep commitment to accelerating Clara's mission.

Reports to: Head of Strategy & Partnerships

FLSA Status: Exempt, Full Time

**Location: Remote temporarily until we transition back to office **

[RESPONSIBILITIES]

• Partnerships: Accelerate R&D, Manufacturing, and Product by developing new and supporting existing partnerships
• Go-to-Market: Conduct market research, recommend GTM strategy, and project manage new product launches
• Fundraising: Create data room and support due diligence for Series C
• Corporate Development: Source, screen, and close complex deals (e.g. M&A, JVs, JDAs)
• Licensing: Contribute to out-licensing business case creation, deal structuring, and term negotiation
• Strategic Roadmap: Help to develop, communicate, execute, sustain, and review a comprehensive strategic plan spanning all functions in partnership with the CEO and Board of Directors
• Special Projects: Identify gaps, propose solutions, and deliver outcomes that create outsized value
• Marketing & Comms: Manage overall strategy, planning, and implementation through 3rd party agencies

[QUALIFICATIONS]

• 2+ years of experience in consulting, product management, and/or corporate finance
• Experience at a high-growth biotechnology, food, and/or agribusiness startup preferred, but not required
• Bachelor's degree in a business, technical, or engineering field preferred, but not required
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and integrate cross-functionally across multiple teams
• Capacity to handle ambiguity and adapt to changing business needs with a bias for action
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills under tight and competing deadlines
• Excellent project management, problem solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills
• Mission-driven, resourceful, team-oriented, and low-ego with a positive attitude
