Carozzi taps four global startups for food innovation pilots in Chile

Carozzi, a major Chilean food company, has selected four international startups to develop pilot projects at its production facilities through the second edition of its Carozzi Sinergia Startup program, run in partnership with agrifoodtech accelerator Eatable Adventures. The program attracted 183 applications from 26 countries, with the four winners hailing from the United States, Spain, Denmark, and Argentina.

• The four selected startups are ProxyFoods (U.S.), which uses AI to accelerate food and beverage product formulation; Sensesbit (Spain), which applies AI to analyze tasting data; Endless Food Co. (Denmark), which develops a cocoa powder alternative from oats and upcycled food by-products; and BioBlends (Argentina), which uses bacterial volatile compounds to extend shelf life.
• The program's 2026 edition focused on four strategic challenges: accelerating product development, improving consumer and market data management, adapting to regulatory changes and consumer preferences, and creating value from waste under circular economy principles.
• Selected startups will now enter a pilot phase alongside Carozzi's technical teams to validate their technologies, measure operational impact, and assess scalability for broader integration.
