Abolis Biotechnologies launches microbial intelligence platform for industrial R&D

Abolis Biotechnologies, a Paris-based biotechnology company, has launched MINE (Microbial INtelligence Explorer), a platform designed to help manufacturers and R&D teams extract actionable insights from complex microbial and multi-omics data. The platform connects genomic exploration, multi-omics analysis, and experimental interpretation to support decisions across product innovation, process development, and scale-up across industries including pharma, cosmetics, food, and agriculture.

• MINE evolved from Microbiome Studio, an ML-enabled analytical platform originally developed through the Metapath project, an industrial program supported by the French government.
• The platform is designed to make microbial data accessible to decision-makers who are not omics or bioinformatics specialists, integrating biological findings with technical and industrial constraints.
• MINE extends Abolis' ideation-to-scale model by connecting microbial intelligence with its existing capabilities in strain engineering, enzyme modeling, fermentation, bioprocess development, and scale-up support.
• Target applications include ingredients, biotics, fermentation-derived products, and bio-based alternatives across pharma, healthcare, cosmetics, food, nutrition, and agriculture.
